Cassette
Singles
What is a cassette single? So far, two
cassette
singles with Frank Zappa songs have been reported - "Alley Cat" and
"Dancin'
Fool". They were also called "Cassingles". If you know any more
about these, any others like them, or cassette singles in general, mail
me.
You might have noticed that this part of the program does not
include
an index, but there is so few material to report that I think it makes
it superfluous.

FRANK ZAPPA - You Can't Sheik Yerbouti On A Ship Arriving Too Late; USA
1991, Barking Pumpkin' Records, Promo-Only-MC. Zustand: ungespielt/neu.
This is a promo
cassette'. Stücke: Broken Hearts Are For Assholes, Dancin'Fool,
Take Me Out To The Ballgame, Bobby Brown, Valley Girl und The Torture
Never Stops. Viel Glück!

This promo only release was issued as a give away at Zappa related
Halloween
events to promote the release of Strictly Commercial. The text on the
back
reads as follow:
"Today in the United States there's a group of people - I know
they
gotta be out there - who don't care wether they're hip, hop, swinging
or
zorch. These people have the ability to motivate social change. I want
to reach the vast minority."

The big note:
Like most of you I, too, have a regular life and have to go to work
each
day, so do not expect updates on a daily basis, nor a prompt reply to
e-mails.
Just give me a little bit of time. And then there´s always the
question
of violation of copyrights. If you think that my pages contain material
which I´m not allowed to include because of its protected status,
please drop me an e-mail,
and I will remove the doubtful parts. On the other hand I regard all
material
within my pages as protected by copyright laws, too, so please ask
before
you steal. I´m sure we can work something out.
